While a large portion of the proceeds from the Children In Need Foundation fundraising events goes into an endowment fund, the majority of the fundraising dollars go into a general fund from which grants are awarded on an annual basis. CINF solicits grant applications from children's charities and end-user organizations, awarding grants at a special ceremony each August hosted by the Active 20-30 Club of Phoenix.

Grant Application/Award Timetable for CINF Financial Year 2011-2012

  1. Grant Applications will be accepted from June 1st 2011 through May 31st 2012
  2. Applications submitted during this window will be held for review between June 1st 2012 and June 30th 2012
  3. Successful grant applications will be notified between July 1st 2012 and July 15th 2012
  4. Grants will be awarded at the annual CINF Awards night in mid-August 2012
