While a large portion of the proceeds from the Children In Need Foundation fundraising events goes into an endowment fund, the majority of the fundraising dollars go into a general fund from which grants are awarded on an annual basis. CINF solicits grant applications from children's charities and end-user organizations, awarding grants at a special ceremony each August hosted by the Active 20-30 Club of Phoenix.
Grant Application/Award Timetable for CINF Financial Year 2009-2010
- Grant Applications will be accepted from June 1st 2009 through May 31st 2010
- Applications submitted during this window will be held for review between June 1st 2010 and June 30th 2010
- Successful grant applications will be notified between July 1st 2010 and July 15th 2010
- Grants will be awarded at the annual CINF Awards night in mid-August 2010
